Final Exam Expectations

Final exams will begin and finish promptly, as indicated in the final exam timetable

• This means that students who arrive late for a final exam may not be given extra time

• Students must remain in the final exam room for the full length of the exam

• Teachers will provide alternate activities for students who are finished their exams (e.g. supplemental reading, course evaluations, reflections

• NO PHONES or ELECTRONIC DEVICES, such as electronic dictionaries, headphones, Music players, cell phones, wearable technology or pre-programmed calculators, MAY NOT BE ACCESSED DURING THE EXAM PERIOD – unless the teacher has established that requirement

• Phones and headphones cannot be accessed at any time and students may be required to leave their devices in a bin at the front of the room

• Students are not allowed to borrow anything from other students during the final exam. Students must have all the necessary supplies with them
