Natural Consequences for Unfinished Work

All teachers will set deadlines for students to complete required homework and or assignments. Teachers will assign a variety of related consequences to those students who develop a pattern of missed deadlines or procrastination. The purpose is to help the student to reform their priorities and time management choices. As in the real world, there are timelines and deadlines which everyone must attend to on a daily basis. For those students whose work habits are interfering with learning, the teacher may request the opportunity to meet with you and discuss a variety of home and school options that will work in partnership to change the student's behaviour.
