Attendance Check Program

The main purpose of this program is to alert you if your child does not arrive in class. The program works best when all families are involved. In this regard, we will follow-up on all absences as a part of this program. You can assist us by notifying the school office personnel each time your child is to be absent from school.

Please note all attendance reporting must be made directly to the office.

To ensure student safety, voicemails are not accepted for reporting attendance. You may call us during school hours, or email us anytime.

It's important to consider that 20 school days of absenteeism equate to one month of missed instruction. When a Junior or Middle school student is absent, it not only results in lost learning but also delays developmental milestones. Students who consistently struggle with lateness or absenteeism for multiple years often fall more than two years behind their peers. We collaborate with Lower and Middle school families to establish positive and prompt attendance practices. In the Upper School, maintaining good attendance habits is the responsibility of individual students and directly impacts their ability to meet the 110 credit hour requirements.
